In case you are wondering – or not. I’ve taken the month of November to participate in the National Novel Writers Month or as it is affectionately called ‘Nanowrimo’. Please do not ask me to pronounce that acronym. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. That breaks down to 1667 words per day or for me two and half hours of writing. I had an idea for a written work rattling around my head for some time, worked out plot points during marathon training long runs, yet never put the ideas on paper or Scrivener. I’m 33,089 words into this project and I am stunned how easy this project has been for me to stay on track. I have no experience in novel writing and found myself adopting a rollicking, seat-of-your-pants style of writing. I can’t wait to see this novel through to the end. It is going to be one hell of a ride.
In the meantime, I will Blab about writing on a weekly Blab-cast. Friday night at 8pm EST
