Snow days this winter were far more bearable when I had the opportunity to let Buster play in the snow. He is half Pomeranian and half American Eskimo, so snow is the ultimate playtime for Buster. I love how he perks up and confidently goes off to play; he is truly in his element – snow!
Also, I took this opportunity to test out my newest lens, the Canon 100mm f/2.8. It is billed as a macro lens but I can tell you it has far more versatility. I’ve yet to work on macro subjects because I’m enjoying using this lens as a portrait lens. I’ll get there, eventually, sharing my results on the blog. All photos were taken hand held with a Canon EOS T1i and 100mm f/2.8 L lens. Also, I freaking love this lens.
I adopted Buster in 2008 when I took Tiny for a routine vet check and came home with two dogs. Apparently he was tossed out of a car onto a busy highway. Luckily he was rescued by a good Samaritan who dropped him off at my vet for emergency care. Since day one, he has been my snuggle-bunny and patiently tolerated the antics of the queen of the house, otherwise known as Tiny. Since Tiny’s passing, he has bonded well with Penny and the two will share toys and play tug of war.
