Debate Night!

Are you watching the Fox News/FaceBook RNC Presidential debate tonight or are you keeping up with it via FB posts and Tweets?

Surprise! Fox News aired my video question. Admittedly, I wasn’t 100% sure it would air. Now, I’m absolutely thrilled it was shown. I want to review the debate again before sharing my thoughts the candidates answers as I was taken aback by the video and lost my concentration.

Below is the question I submitted to the FoxNews/FaceBook Republican debate:

Philly.com has released a rather good article about my video question to the candidates. You can read it HERE.

What would you have asked the candidates? This question is open to the democratic candidates as well. I would like to know their economic strategy for the future.

  • The other nine debaters, eager to showcase their own candidacies, may try to shine light on Trump’s vague policy positions and past ties to Democrats, including the Clintons. Likewise, watch for how the others react if Trump hurls personal invectives at them.

Tania, post the video of your question please.

Kasich, “unconditional love”, hard to go wrong with that answer, don’t you think?

  • rochester_veteran

Oh gosh, good question, Tania, so glad that FOX ran it! Big hugs to you!

Concerning Jeb’s answer about Common Core, it was Scott Walker who defeated the monopoly of the teachers unions in Wisconsin by eliminating automatic membership to the union, basically there was no choice, it was forced to be teachers union member in order to teach in Wisconsin. Pretty much the same deal here in New York State, unless one is teaching in a parochial/private school. That’s why my son and his wife ended up teaching in Douglas County, CO, there were no jobs for them in NYS, only endless years of working as substitutes…

Love that question about cutting the power of the IRS, EPA, etc… self-serving government, self-serving and abusibe bureaucracies!

    • Tania

      Agreed.

The Donald, being the Donald, buying favor where he can! ;-

Like Ben Carson’s comment about politically correct wars. Let them win!

    • Tania

Yes. Glad he had time to speak. This is over in 10 minutes, right?

      • rochester_veteran

I hope so, gotta go to sleep pretty soon.

        Good night, sleep tight!

Still going strong. This should be interesting.

Another satisfactory answer from Scott Walker.

  • rochester_veteran

Cruz at his best, not wavering against the Islamists, understanding the history of where those people are coming from.

I do like Rand Paul’s stand for the Fourth Amendment. He and his dad’s problem is being moonbats concerning national security. Christie is an ass…

  • rochester_veteran

I like Cruz too, he’s got the mind, smart dude, but does he have the charisma? Like his shot against Chuck Schumer!

  • rochester_veteran

Believe me, I’m no Trump fan, but is there a paid booing section in the auditorium for him? Seems astroturfed, don’t you think?

  • rochester_veteran

Rand Paul, like Dad, Ron, non-interventionist.

  • rochester_veteran

Scott Walker looking good so far!

  • rochester_veteran

Tania, I’ll be watching! Do you realize that today is also national IPA day? Good excuse to be drunk watching the debates! 😉

    • Tania

Sipping on home brewed hard cider as I watch twitter feeds. Sexy as all get out!

Good answer from Scott Walker on immigration. Can you tell, I’m favoring Scott Walker?

        • Tania

Yep! I’m to the point were I believe the moderators will NOT take view submitted questions. And I’m okay with that.
