#FridayFiction 100 Word Challenge: The Costume

For the 10th time this hour Alex sighed in resignation while adjusting his mop-like wig.

‘Stop grimacing, Alex, you look fabulous’ Marie chided.

Alex peered in the mirror, a goth version of Raggedy Andy complete with sequin patches stared back at him. Sequin. Patches. How did he get talked into this train wreck of a costume?

Marie appeared next to him in her Raggedy Ann costume, a cross between goth and Heidi Fleiss. She carefully arranged her thigh-high tights and grinned at Alex.

Oh, that’s why, Alex mused.

‘Are you ready?’ Marie asked Alex

‘Lead me on, my dear’ Alex replied.

Ahhh, thigh highs… 😉 I wouldn’t have thought of going as Goth Raggedy Andy and Ann. Good call, Tania!

I have a friend and he and his girlfriend are capitalizing on the Bruce/Caitlyn thing and he’s going as Caitlyn and she’s going as Bruce. 🙂

I haven’t been to a Halloween party in a long time, but the times I did, I went as the Hunchback of Notre Dame, a pirate (met my girlfriend in Cali at this party, coincidentally, she went as a wench), a Key Stone cop, a Roman (toga and all!) and Muammar Gaddafi.

What have you gone as, Tania?
