Two weeks ago, I indulged in a photowalk at Winterthur Estate and Gardens taking in the sublime beauty of Spring.
When Madame Spring puts on a show, you sit down and pay close attention.
A walk through Winthur Gardens was the perfect antidote to the capricious start of this season.
Snow was a distant memory while walking under the age old Cherry trees. All that was missing was a black horse.
I discovered a very abstract look as well as a bit of nostalgia in the photos I took during my walkabout. The sunlight, the colors and the lack of snow combined to jolt my happiness quotient. I honestly believe I suffered from seasonal affective disorder this past Winter. I’m very happy to be back in the sunlight again.
