A Walk around Bruneau Sand Dunes

15,000 years ago, the Earth warmed and glaciers melted. This triggered a flood of massive proportions called the Bonneville flood. Floodwaters spilled into southern Idaho, roughly following the Snake River Canyon. Backwater eddies in Eagle Cove deposited tons of silt, effectively creating the sand dunes visitors now enjoy in Southern Idaho.

I had the privilege to explore the Dunes prior to our new COVID19 reality and would like to share a taste of the outdoors while we stay indoors. The video was shot with an iPhone 7 plus and iPhone 11promax.
